Install eSIM on Google Pixel 8 / 8 Pro

Follow these steps to install your travel eSIM. You need your QR code (emailed after purchase) and an internet connection to scan it.

   Network settings

   Go to Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs. Tap 'Add eSIM' or 'Download a SIM instead'. Choose 'Scan QR code'.

   Scan and add

   Point your camera at the QR code. When the plan appears, tap to add it. Name it (e.g. 'Travel') if asked.

   Switch when abroad

   The eSIM installs but stays off. At your destination, go to Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs, select the travel eSIM, and turn on mobile data for that line.
