Open Settings
Go to Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Data). Tap 'Add Cellular Plan' or 'Add eSIM'. Your camera will open – point it at the QR code.

Install the plan
When the plan appears, tap 'Add Cellular Plan'. Label it if prompted (e.g. 'Travel'). The eSIM installs and appears in your Cellular settings.

Use when you land
Before your trip, the profile is installed. Follow the plan terms for validity and service; at your destination, go to Settings → Cellular, select the travel plan, and enable it for data when you are ready to use it.

Home line and dual SIM
You can normally keep a Canadian line and Voyaio available together. Assign Cellular Data to Voyaio, keep Allow Cellular Data Switching off, and disable roaming on the Canadian line. Keeping the Canadian line enabled can still incur your carrier's roaming or usage charges, especially for calls and SMS; check your carrier's terms before travel.
When you arrive
Use the travel plan for mobile data and keep your primary line for your normal number. Turn off data roaming on the primary line before using data abroad.

Open the QR email on a laptop or another phone, then return to Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM. The same-screen camera cannot scan its own display.
The phone shows SOS after arrival
Confirm Voyaio is enabled and selected for data, enable data roaming for Voyaio if required, then restart or toggle Airplane Mode.
If the phone shows no service, confirm the travel plan is enabled, mobile data is assigned to that line, and data roaming is enabled for the travel eSIM when the provider requires it. Then toggle airplane mode or restart the phone.
