Install eSIM on iPhone 14 / 14 Plus / 14 Pro / 14 Pro Max
Compatible when the phone shows an EID and Carrier Lock says No SIM restrictions. The US iPhone 14 family is eSIM-only; that is fine for Voyaio, but it changes how you keep your Canadian number available. You need your QR code (emailed after purchase) and an internet connection to scan it.

Open Camera or Settings
Option A: Open the Camera app and point it at your QR code. A banner will appear: 'Cellular Plan Available' or 'Set Up Cellular Plan'. Tap it. Option B: Go to Settings → Cellular → Add Cellular Plan and scan when prompted.

Add the plan
When the plan details appear, tap 'Add Cellular Plan'. You may be asked to label it (e.g. 'Europe Travel' or 'Japan'). Choose a name and tap Continue.

Install and activate later
The eSIM profile is installed. Whether validity or service begins at installation or later depends on the specific plan terms. When ready to use it, go to Settings → Cellular, select your travel plan, and turn on 'Turn On This Line' or set it as the line for Cellular Data.
Check compatibility first
Check Settings > General > About for an EID and confirm that Carrier Lock says No SIM restrictions. Canadian iPhone 14 models can use a physical SIM and eSIM together, while some regional variants differ.
Carrier and region: A Canadian carrier lock prevents the Voyaio line from working, even though the hardware supports eSIM. US models have no physical SIM slot, while Canadian models may use physical SIM + eSIM; confirm which line holds your Canadian number before departure.
Before you fly
Install the plan on Wi-Fi before departure, label it with the destination, and leave your Canadian line available for calls and SMS if you need it.
Install vs. activate: Install on Wi-Fi before departure. Installation adds the profile; it does not mean you must use it immediately. Turn on the Voyaio line and select it for data after landing, when the plan's coverage is needed.
Device details cross-check: Apple: unlock and eSIM checks. Regional model and carrier support can still differ.
Home line and dual SIM
iPhone 14 can keep two lines available, subject to the regional model. Use Voyaio for Cellular Data, leave Allow Cellular Data Switching off, and disable data roaming on the Canadian line to avoid an unintended roaming connection. Keeping the Canadian line enabled can still incur your carrier's roaming or usage charges, especially for calls and SMS; check your carrier's terms before travel.
When you arrive
At landing, select the travel eSIM for Cellular Data and turn off data roaming on your Canadian line to prevent accidental roaming charges.
Tip
iPhone 14 has dual eSIM support – you can store multiple plans and switch between them.

The QR code will not scan
Display the QR code on another screen or use Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM. Increase screen brightness and confirm the iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi.
The line is installed but has no data
At the destination, select the Voyaio line under Cellular Data, turn on the line, enable data roaming for Voyaio if the plan requires it, and toggle Airplane Mode once.
If the phone shows no service, confirm the travel plan is enabled, mobile data is assigned to that line, and data roaming is enabled for the travel eSIM when the provider requires it. Then toggle airplane mode or restart the phone.

Can I keep my Canadian number active?
Usually yes. Keep your Canadian line on for calls or SMS, but set Voyaio as Cellular Data and turn off data roaming on the Canadian line.
Is a US iPhone 14 compatible without a physical SIM slot?
Yes, provided it is unlocked and has an EID. Voyaio is installed as a second eSIM profile.
