Chiang Mai and the north, 7–15 days
Service can thin toward Pai or Chiang Rai. Plan 5–10 GB and download Thai maps before leaving the city.

Phuket, Krabi and Koh Samui, 10–30 days
Prefer a 10 GB pack for island hops. Treat ferry days as offline-first.
Choose Thailand for a Thailand-only trip. Bangkok weeks often need 3–5 GB once you leave hotel Wi-Fi; northern loops and island hops commonly need 5–10 GB, and ferries are not land coverage.
Keep your home number
Use the travel eSIM for data while keeping your regular line available for important messages and verification. Turn off home-line data roaming.
Prepare before you leave
Your QR code arrives by email. Install on Wi-Fi, then activate when your selected plan terms call for it.
Expect real-world coverage
Buildings, terrain, tunnels and local network conditions can still affect service. Coverage is plan-specific.
